    🗳️Vote locally, no matter which EU country you call home.

    Around 14 million EU citizens living in another EU country have the chance to participate in, and run as candidates, for municipal elections in their country of residence.

    And we want to make sure they do!
    Participation in local democracy just got easier:

    🔸Clearer information in a widely understandable language.
    🔸Simpler registration procedures.
    🔸Equal voting rights as nationals.

    EU countries must make this law by June 2028.
