On the one hand, it doesn't really matter since the he'll have even less influence outside of the opposition and the problem will resolve itself at the next election.
On the other, the possibility of him joining One Nation seems bizarre. Two elections ago, Labor won this seat. The overlapping federal division elected a teal independent, and returned the second highest "yes" vote in the Indigenous Voice referendum. The area may lean conservative, but how do you look at all that and decide they'd want a far right anti-immigration party to represent them?
