Jun 24, 2026, 4:45 PM@alex I also postponed and delayed airco's for years. After the last 3 years I couldn't take it anymore. It wasn't worth me to sleep in 35 degrees in my bedroom. Etc.
So eventually we basically did it good. Using the latest Mitsubishi Electric models. We installed multiple indoor units and several outdoor units (some are multi split installed). Latest models and most silent versions while also having enough cooling capacity as well as warming (during the winter).
We have the MSZ-AY line.

@melroy thanks for the info. I will have a look during the winter months and see if I can find a deal. I have a feeling trying to buy air con now would be like RAM prices.

@alex I believe ram prices increased more in the past months than airconditioning by a large margin.
