Went out with an old friend I haven't seen a while.
I found out that she's invested in the narrative where trans ppl have privileges over cis ppl.
I find this disappointing, sad and weak.
And it makes me feel lonely as well.
I thought I was going out with another human being with ideas and thoughts and feelings.
And here they are, showing me that they're at least partly a tube for the propaganda to flow through, undigested.

That's rough with an old friend. I get it why you call it a disappointment . Sad and weak when people get invested in that narrative. It really changes how you see them.
