looks like the current maintainer has gone all-in on vibecoding https://github.com/restic/restic/issues?q=AI / https://github.com/restic/restic/pulls?q=is%3Apr+author%3AMichaelEischer and with the commits not mentioning anything about being slop i'd guess that most or all of their recent commits are slop
