    The fledgling is almost as big as his dad. If you look closely, you can see that during the feeding, his beak comes very close to his parent's eye. Scary.

    @carpingdiem what goegeous birds they are. And surprisingly widespread! I had them in my garden in Ottawa and now I still see them in Northern California!
