Please don't repeat the insulting behavior of pretending that 1985-1997 didn't exist because SJ wasn't there. A lot of people cared a lot and worked really hard to keep the lights on.
Every written coverage of Copland is chock full of lies by the few who talked to prior authors in order to make themselves look better.
