@firstdogonthemoon The best spin I can muster is that the cartoon will appeal mostly to the audience most willfully ignorant of the facts. But, will a cartoon, a fairly elaborate one, hold their attention, or make a difference in how they see the crisis? It does seem like an unserious way to present the science to people who are already on board.
