@blogdiva Recalling this inspired me to share some stories with my son. With a German grandmother and a Quaker conscientious objector grandfather, I've been conscious of this stuff so long I can't remember having learned it.

I remember being appalled at people who didn't believe the USA had ever done wrong as early as middle school at least.
