Flipboard isn't scraping sites without permission, these accounts belong to the publications themselves. Some of them have links to their Flipboard account from their own websites, see the attached screenshot. (Taken from https://www.pcgamer.com)
By the way, for what it's worth, I've only listed Flipboard accounts if they don't already have an active official Mastdon etc account. I checked each one before making the thread.
