It's unfathomable the president of the US lost a war to a country that couldn't win a war with their neighbors. No president would attack Iran without all the information from the military who plays these war games to know the strategies, options, and consequences. But then again the US is led by the most ignorant, arrogant president imaginable who dismissed the military and made decisions on impulse gut reactions. You got that right. A bad real estate businessman thought he was better than anyone, and we've experienced the results. He screwed everyone and now is the most hated person alive. Time republicans impeached and convicted him to remove him as president. Democrats will join you. JMO

With a third Air Force One, this one in Trump's colors, we'll see Trump use it in the U.S.and the other two outside the U.S. then the next president can repaint it to traditional colors and use it, or the president can strip it and park it. Either way Trump doesn't get to take it.

I live in the Puget Sound region of Washington State. On my 3.5 mile walk to town one gas station advertised regular gas: $5.13 with company credit card, $5.23 with cash, $5.33 with credit or bank card. The Japanese Formula 1 race was interesting, but more battery and energy management race than a F1 race where power from sophisticated, turbo-charged engines the driver controls. Competition was more about who had the available battery power at the right places at the right time.

I've kept my view of the cars under the 2026 regulations quiet, bu this race proved rules are a bust. There weren't enough places to recharge the battery on any lap so the driver had to mange what power was available to use or save.

THAT'S NOT FORMULA 1 RACING! It's a hybrid version of Formula E racing.

Here's my thoughts:
1. Increase ICE from 1.6 L to 2.0 L V-6 or V-8.
2. Reduce battery system to maximum 25% power using engine to recharge battery when not being used.
3. Reduce battery size and recharging system to reduce weight.
4. Recruit 1-2 auto companies for teams or power unit systems.
5. Increase number of free power unit parts replacement.
6. Simplify front and rear wing movement. Reduce size of front wing.

So now all the middle east pundits will get media air time to express their what ifs about Iran, Persian Gulf, US middle east policy, possible war, and more ad nauseam. I'll pass thank you.

One thing we know is certain. Trump lost any bid for a Nobel Peace Prize. He flushed it down the toilet and no amount of bullshit about ending wars (he didn't end) and middle east peace will change it.

Sad reality is Trump is completely oblivious to reality and completely blind to any measure of self-awareness, and with declining cognitive functions and memory from dementia we have a president who believes he knows everything and has no humanity, empathy and compassion. The world is what he wants it to be and everyone who disagrees is the enemy. Add he sense of absolute power and you get the worst human being we could elect president, and his threats and intimidation has turned republicans into crickets. They won't challenge him, let alone impeach and convict him, or pass bills against his threats. The only hope is time Trump doesn't have. His body and mind are failing even drugs and treatments can't stop the inevitable. It's coming. We'll wait. JMO

Trump is the five year who throws tantrums when he can't get what he wants, so after being caught breaking house rules, he does the same thing he knows breaks the rules and will be caught and scolded. He'll keep imposing tariffs regardless what SCOTUS rules, what lawsuits lower courts rule, and what laws Congress passed. He believes he has absolute power SCOTUS and Congress can't stop him or hold him accountable, and with declining mental and physical health he's detached from the reality the rest of us lives in. We really do have a mad wannabe king. JMO

Observation. I recently installed both Facebook and Instagram apps instead of using their Website version. These two apps install the same set of about a dozen Safari cookies. The cookies can't be deleted. If you remove them, they'll reappear. I recently deleted them and rebooted the iPad, and they were there without opening any apps. I keep six cookies for apps which have the login so I don't have to login in every time, but the others are added by the two apps without doing anything. Such is privacy anymore.

At 76 years old I'm confused how we went from convicting and imprisoning pedophile, and working to break up the pedophile trafficking rings and pedophile porn Websites , and working to find and arrest pedophiles, to now with the republican party protecting a pedophile president, and his friends network of powerful and wealthy pedophiles and his friend's property for trafficking young women and girls. What happened? Trump should have been arrested and waiting trial with the huge amount of evidence of his sex and abuse of young women and girls. Trump is evil and the GOP is protecting him. Why? This isn't the America I grew up in.

Years ago I curling championship on CBC to pass the time. They showed matches from beginning to end without interruptions. It sounds boring to watch but the games requires experience and skill, matches require strategy, and there's the anticipation watching the rock slide down the lane to see what happens when it gets to the circle. Watching the matches on Peacock are an insult to the sport. They don't show the whole match and you have to pay extra not to see ads. And the commentary sucks. They talk about everything but the match. They could easily teach the viewer about strategy, tactics, etc, and occasionally do, but not enough. JMO

As bad as Trump is as president and any resemblance of a human being, the thought of VP JD Vance becoming president is the realization he's an order of magnitude worse as a human being and would be as president, but still I'd rather see him than continue with a senile, crazy, old man as president who's long past any measure of sanity and fitness to serve. He'll only get worse, but Vance is already a POS and would be as president. Just saying.

Observation: Facebook is the only app I've notice that uses Safari cookies with their app and uses the same Safari cookies with their Web version.

Can we keep a perspective here. Trump is not the end of western civilization, not the end of NATO, and not the end of US creditability in the world. Yes, Trump is significantly damaging America, our government, our international standing and creditability, and most of all, the lives of Americans. We will survive, damaged, hurt, and depressed, but his time is running out and we can and will recover. Let's focus on what gives us hope and a future.

Fuck Trump and everything he stand for. Don't read news about what he says. He's all bullshit and lies. Only read about what he does as president, not as Trump - he's a POS bigger than a dairy barn. Read about what others are doing. Read about the world. Read about Americans. Read about America.

I live on the Gig Harbor side of The Narrows Strait about a 1/4 mile east of the Tacoma Narrows bridges. I look across the Strait to see the freight trains travel from Portland to Tacoma. Amtrak switched to the inland route years ago. The trains are fascinating for the number of locomotives and number types of cars.

All but a few have 2-3 locomotives regardless the number of cars. Sometimes longer trains have a locomotive in the middle, and some trains have a rear facing locomotive at the end. Every week or so a train will have 5 locomotives and only15-20 cars. They're obviously transferring locomotives, but it's odd they have so few cars.

The US Office of Personnel Management and Treasury Department hasn't sent the 2026 statement of monthly annuity, income tax withheld, and health insurance premium payment from annuity payments to federal retirees required by regulations. These statements usually go out mid-December. Our annuity is paid from a trust fund and the cost of living (COLA) is determined by law (think Congress) and not controlled by White House, but fear of Trump and DOGE interfering is alive and well. We won't know our 2026 annuity until tomorrow with direct deposit.
