I went and did the banking and the gym, so I did all the things.

The gym, though. It was raining this morning so after my workout I had to change out of my sweat-drenched gym clothes into rain-drenched outside clothes and *that* was sensory hell.

I'm home and dry and fed now, though, so I plan to curl up in my goo bucket as goo for a few hours until I am regular goo-moist instead of soggy.

Just saw some affordable housing and healthcare fly by overhead in Montreal.

I wonder about the occasion.

The other thing(s) I wanted to do today are to deposit a cheque (if I don't do it at a teller today I'll have to wait for the hold to clear through a machine, booo!) and to go to the gym - luckily both are in the same direction.

I've told myself if I do the gym I can go easy because I already did a 20-minute "farmer's walk" carrying everything home.

Back from the foodbank and sorely tempted to call it a day. It was fine, but it's such a "busy" environment with rules that sometimes change and a "food bank culture" I don't know how to integrate into, so it's always an over-stimulating experience.

BUT! It's done and I have a bank of food.

I could have gone next week, but while we can go any friday for bread and staples like potatoes, bread, veg, you can get a "full" set of groceries only every 30 days, and since the food bank is only open on Fridays and 4x7=28, not 30, there are months where I just can't go, and other months where I don't *need* to go as soon as I can. I went this week, because I'm planning to need the food-bank mid-August and late-September; if I'd waited to go until next week I'd have to make-do with late-August and early-October.

Poverty takes scheduling skills in addition to budgeting and meal prep skills.
