Five autistic queer Fedifolk (one in a fur suit) travel to help out a regular person each episode.

By the end of the episode, the team have degoogled the recipient, installed a thoughtfully selected Linux distro on their formerly-windows machine, replaced much of their software with open source alternatives, stocked their home library with Murderbot novels and cozy queer SF, and given the recipient a new Special Interest to hyperfocus on.

Of course it's not the same *version* of the same song over and over. And the DJ is awesome and shares so much fun historical info. I love it.

This weekend's was "never my love.' certainly I knew this song in the back of my brain before listening to the episode? but I can't be sure!!!

For context, S2C description from MBR programming brochure: Subject to Change plays the same song(s) again and again and again and again and again. And again. Warning: This monomaniacal monotony is known to induce PatNauseam, and to contain dangerous levels of Andy Williams.

I actually love the @wmbr program Subject to Change, but this weekend's episode really got me. The song is still playing in my head. It's driving me insane. I don't know if I can do this to myself anymore 😆

oddly when I first turned on the radio, I thought I hadn't heard the song before. now I have no idea - was I hearing it for the first time and just listened to it 100 times so now I know the whole thing? or has it played in the background of my life so much that i already knew it?

Another great bike ride planned with the Mass trail tracker!

We took the northern strand trail to Encore, got pretty confused getting from Charlestown to Castle Island off trails but ended up along the freedom trail. We biked Bunker Hill!

Then we took the Boston Harborwalk (some stretches we had to walk our bikes) along the south shore. Misty day.

Picked up the beautiful Neponset River trail. Caught a bit of the Ghana match & had dinner in Hyde Park. Took the T home. 30 miles 💪

Yesterday, the Supreme Court made a ruling that allowed the Trump administration to cancel TPS for Haiti and Syria.

TPS exists for immigrants to find refuge from war, natural disasters, etc. Now they are at risk of being deported.

This decision will strip away the immigration status of more than 1.3 million people from 13 countries. People who have been here for decades, raised families, and are an integral part of our community.

Y’all, did you know that Trump’s handpicked mail czar has declared that unless states give the Post Office lists of all voters, they just won’t deliver mail ballots. Just…won’t deliver them.

This is of course highly unconstitutional, especially since a federal court ruled today that the executive order underlying the request is …wait for it…unconstitutional.

Still, there’s a couple days left to yell at them about this nonsense and tell them to cut it out. You can do that here:

Yesterday from Malden I took the mystic greenway to alewife brook greenway to somerville community path.

Then the awesome beacon st bike lanes to inman to see a couple sets & donate $$ at Anniepalooza @Lilypad

We continued to the charles river path, caught a sunset beer at owls nest in herter park. Took the watertown-cambridge path back to alewife path for the trip home.

10/10 would do again!
