Glassless Windows
Glass is hard, dangerous, heavy, low-insulating. It takes much energy to produce and centuries to degrade. It's cringe.
We should go back to glassless windows, using wood panels, paper, animal hides and other if possible, like currently developing transparent wood.

I dont remember the place, but remember some city/town banning solar because some power company told them it would use up all the sun and the plants/animals would die.
