I think today's pocket knife is at least the third I've found in random locations. Definitely remember finding one in a public park in SF, one on a picnic table in a campground, this in the road and I feel like there was another one that I found on a road trip but I don't remember where.
Is this a thing for other people? Have you ever found a pocket knife randomly laying around?

@etp My hope, rather, is that the councils will get serious about building proper cycling infrastructure, with protected lanes in a connected network and safe L-shaped turns for drivers. We have to grow out of the model of hundreds of thousands of cars, each with a lonely driver alone inside, and this is the way to do it - this, and removing most on-street parking

I visited the pitch drop experiment at The University of Queensland today. Started in 1927, it’s the world’s longest-running lab experiment.
