Today I logged out of Twitter in a browser and uninstalled the app on my phone. It was a nice place for a while, but time to move on!

@cwant I was a complete Twitter addict - and so proud of the way I had used the platform to break news stories and build community. But I'm so glad I quit when I did. I have found it quite liberating. I hope you find it that way too!

Dear #math people,
I am trying to find a name for something. The situation is when a line intersects a polygon at a vertex, and only touches the polygon at that one point. It's not right to call this a tangent line ... but what do you call it? Thanks!
