If you have saved up enough that you can work for a while without a wage and assemble the tools and coworkers to do it, one of the big challenges is how to fend off these saboteurs. You may (and should) redefine “profit” to include all aspects of human flourishing, including the well-being of workers and the environment. Hard enough, but then you have to protect that from “shareholders.”
Recommend me a manga/anime/visual novel that has hot villains and an actual fandom active on places that are not corporate socials

The experiments with the musical fediverse continue... I've just set up an M-Corp page on subvert.fm, and made the latest album available over there. Basic, but I hope it will grow in time as I make new stuff and remix the old stuff...
I've been using bandcampsync to download my #bandcamp collection for a while. It works as intended, so no complaints. But, has anyone made a script to download album info/credits? It seems all the download utilities only download the audio files and coverart. It makes sense, as that's what you get when downloading manually too. But I want a text file with the other stuff.
Hoping someone has already made this, or this is possibly a self-nerdsnipe...
I notice people 'in general' (definitely not everyone tho) have become more self-centered over the past 1-2 decades, I think it's due to phone addiction + algorithmic social media, but of course this is super hard to confirm.
I should have asked people 1-2 decades ago how self-centered they felt their peers were, and then compare it to today; but unfortunately, past me has failed me 😔 hehe

I recent learned that because we are at the edge of our Milky Way galaxy, the view of night sky in the northern hemisphere shows both arms of our spiral galaxy. I tried to capture that in this painting.
