Problem #1: IPv6 seems to NOT be stable, prefix changed a few days ago.
Had to change domain AAAA entry.
As I have to unlock IPv6 adresses & ports in RouterA1's firewall with the full IPv6, any kind of DynDNS is out of the window (DNS record may change, firewlal would sitll block it)

Problem (?)#2: NAS sometimes gets some nice short IPv6 (prefix..::1) but that takes forever and right now doesn't get one at all. Right now it only leases EUI-64 adress with very short lease times IDK why.

Giving it a shot, in Summary:
Germany; ISP: PYUR; Direct Fiber to ONT in-house serving Internet,IPTV,VOIP; Root Router: TP-Link VR2100v; Two more routers as bridges/APs over house floors. Network plan attached.
ISP put me under CGNAT ~1mnth ago.
Will not give/sell me fixed ip on private plan.
NAS needs to be reachable from outside - for media watching and photo syncing etc
Switched from IPv4+DynDNS to IPv6.

I'm not just ranting here if anyone would want to help me out with getting my NAS (and mediaserver) up and stable-accessible again I'd actually appreciate it

Like yeah, I too found ipv6 more of an esoteric issue to tackle the last few years but now that i'm forced to i severely hate it.
Routers have lackluster support, documentaiton is fileld with acronyms that companies seem to implement their own truth for anyway, anmd it sound si need enterprise grade hardware and ISP plans for something that was possible with a DynDNS before..

Struggling with switching over to public IPv6 for my NAS on a private consumer plan;
About 50% of forum posts etc I find say "actually, just disable ipv6 you don't really need it, everything still works with ipv4 fallback"
And i'm here thinking: Have you heard of the wonder that is called CGNAT?
Am I the only pirvate NAS owner who ahs been bansihe dinto the CGNAT realm and actually has to find a way out of this now? Am I missing something?

Unexpected consequence of the AI era*: Various tools with network calls that normally would run so quickly there is no need for a progress bar or status indicator now hang for minutes at a time trying to reach network with no sign of whether the tool has locked up

* Here "AI" means "various commercial entities are performing a DDOS on every website, but there are no legal consequences, because if you call something 'AI' it becomes legal, like doing it through a hole in a sheet"
