@rem I saw a post earlier from Merriam-Webster pointing out that a "dashboard" was originally a board put in front of a horse drawn carriage to keep the horses from "dashing" mud into riders' faces.

Then, since instruments were in a similar place in cars, they reused the name, and eventually it came to mean any kind of instrument panel.

Language is weird.

Alright, executive dysfunction folks. What are some things or strategies that *really* help you?

I'm autistic and quite possibly AuDHD. I also think I'm still dealing with the aftermath of a huge burnout a few years ago. I struggle with getting myself to do things that need to be done but aren't that interesting, and sometimes even things that *are* interesting,... there's some kind of internal block/barrier I can't seem to get over to even start; I feel overwhelmed, I procrastinate, I stare into screens non-productively,... and when I manage to start, I often struggle to keep going without letting myself be distracted and/or just being bored/tired too quickly. And then I feel guilty and bad for not managing to do things... sigh.

I'd be grateful for advice, links, videos or books, whatever works.

So the Fascist Frog is now part of two investigations by the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner, focussing on a private meeting with the Governor of the Bank of England where he lobbied for the state not to develop a state based digital currency in competition with crypto (which incidentally is where is chief donor's money comes from).

A by-election in Clacton is edging closer; perhaps this is a case of a Frog not realising the problem with boiling water?
