gang - I have a LOT of DVDs and Blu-rays and years ago, in order to save space I chucked the cases and put the discs into sleeves, but now I'm reconsidering this system as well
any good new ideas on how to store/organize DVDs & Blu-rays that both saves space AND makes them easier to access?

Toy Story 5 is a great example of this. Saw it a few weeks back, and it certainly was charming and polished. And it will make Disney a ton of money...
But comparing it to WALL•E is like comparing a Sunday Comic to a Michelangelo. One is quckly-served and arguably well-done. But you've honestly seen variations of it before.
The other is a an irreplaceable work of art that has no successor because, well... how could it?
Sadly. I don't think that it is a coincidence that WALL•E (and to some extent, UP) was one of the last works that Pixar largely completed before being fully acquired by Disney. There is something about the House that the Mouse Built where it seems like every property they assimilate eventually becomes too... commercial...
And less sincere...

I may be biased, as I will admit to an irrational love for this film, but as more time goes by, the more I think that this is the peak Pixar moment. The level of attention to everything, from the flakes of rust on our hero, to the subtle movements of light in the circuitry under EVE's skin is astounding. The story is flawless, with too many tiny perfect moments to count. It's simply a masterpiece in every measurable way.

Even so we spent the day downtown with a very festive crowd, eventually watching the fireworks from the Stone Arch Bridge.
By Midnight, things had quieted though, giving me the opportunity to take one of my all-time favorite photos.
