Today marks the 22nd anniversary of life with only one foot.
That's equivalent to the same amount of time I spent in the Navy, or one third of my life.

Last year I mentioned to my wife that an old shipmate of mine had got into #3dprinting. She quickly told me that I shouldn't get any ideas of doing the same. I was (unusally for me) easily persuaded that she was right due in part to an impending downsizing house move.
So on Christmas day I was somewhat surpised that she had bought me an #Ender3V2 printer.
Complications with the house purchase put me in a bad place and today I have just opened the box for the first time.

Hmmm, I suspect this is a bad sign but as I've never used ddrescue before only time will tell...
Hopefully not the estimated remaining time 😆

Has anyone experienced that feeling when, after lecturing everyone for years on the importance of backups, you realise you haven't done it yourself...

Packing up my office for an impending house move and came across my second #Casio digital watch. Bought around 1980 this watch accompanied me to the Falklands in 1982.
Might have to try replacing the battery.

Received my first spam e-mail in my #Tutanota account today.
Odd. It has a custom domain which has never been given out to any organisation.
