It has become apparent that weather forecasting and tracking in Canada is, just like most other things, urban centric.

One of the most baffling things about the modern world is just how fucking passive everyone is while a handful of people destroy everything.

Years ago I was having lunch with a group of colleagues and somehow sea monkeys came up. I think I had just discovered that they were actually shrimp, which made me both glad and sad that my childhood disappointment of imagining I had a family of to train and entertain me never materialized.

One person in that conversation didn't forget.

So I just received a package of Sea Monkeys out of the blue. In the middle of a storm.

Inner child still wants to try it and see what happens.

I need gift ideas for 2 little girls 5 & 7. Their Dad recently got his PhD and they are excited and inspired to be doctors themselves one day.

They are BC First Nations, living on Vancouver Island.
