Please remember the post above is deliberately called an invitation. It intends to be helpful for everybody involved. It is not an attempt to establish a "rule" that is to be "enforced" by relentlessly chastising people to conform. Especially not fellow human beings who are facing famine, diseases, and death, day after day.

On a personal note, as a German: It is quite possible that many decades have passed since any merciless war put your own country in ruins. Yet it's also quite possible that you remember stories being told in your family of what everybody had to do back then, just to survive.
