While I was at the botanic garden yesterday, I saw a huge tree unfamiliar to me. It had all sorts of pods with dense, heavy seeds. I picked up a couple of the many seeds and planted one today.the Kentucky Coffeetree is a species at risk in Ontario. Maybe I can plant a seedling and help it recover. #trees #KentuckyCoffeetree

@mayintoronto the seeds are really neat. They're dark like chestnuts, very dense/heavy for their size, and about as big around as a dime.

I've also planted seeds from a yellow dragonfruit. Those have sprouted. I have no idea what a dragonfruit plant looks like, but I'm finding out.
