I want to attempt a little experiment. One of my favorite things on ye olde phpBBs of yore was the chain story. And so I want to give it a try on a new medium.

The proposed rules for all chain stories:
+ Extend the story only if you follow the original poster.
+ Extend the story only from the most recent post of the chain.
+ Use #NonStory for non-story replies. Use #ChainStory on story replies.
+ End your bit with ">>>", so the next person can go.
+ Don't write too much, or too little.

The housemates put on another movie and I missed the start of #Monsterdon . But I was treated to the feature presentation torments of Godfather 3 instead. I'm sure #Slugs (1988) would have had better creature effects than Sofia Coppola's nepobaby face.

This batch was mostly silver maple as they're all over the place and the Norway maple hasn't started dropping in earnest yet, but I'll try to get them all.

1. Hold the samara with the wing to the right and seed to the left.
2. Pinch between seed pocket and wing.
3. Push the seed through the front of the pocket, and peel the wing around to the back.
4. Separate the pointy end of the samara from the seed.
5. Remove the rest of the samara.
6. Repeat until bored.
7. Cook the seeds. (optional)
8. Eat 'em.

Explaining fascism to Americans doesn't seem to be working, so maybe stringing together every Doctor Who episode featuring Daleks might help?
