Democrats have a chance to flip the White House in 2028 and ensure fascism never rears its ugly head again. But only if they act with courage. Now.

@QasimRashid Democratic leadership already declared their intentions to do nothing of lasting value.

We need to purge the AIPAC-Epstein dominated old guard.

@QasimRashid "They" didn't do anything, the people did. Option 1 and Option 2 were provided with the lovely voting system in place and people picked the lesser of two evils. The house is not yet cleaned and still needs work, but this is a start. We need to start framing this as the people, not a party. The USA is not 2 parties, they are just the most prominent. It's like saying the USA is Christian, it is not.

@QasimRashid You ridiculous talking head. Nobody should ever take you seriously again, if they did before.

First off, Trump can veto anything the Democrats can pass, and the Democrats cannot override that veto. So your comprehensive voter protections are a fantasy. Also there is a Supreme Court ready to gut those protections, which don’t exist to gut.

Second, the American people can vote for whoever they want. Your fantasy that they will vote only for Democrats is bizarre.

@QasimRashid to suggest that anyone in permanent power (...'will never lose an election again') will be proof against greed, graft, or corruption is sheer blindness. we have a democracy that relies on multiple differing voices, allowing us to triangulate the best way forward. we must as a multicultural nation work towards a unity of heart, and not from a tribal 'suppress the other' approach. otherwise we fall prey to the same blindness that we aim to rise above. divisiveness is not the way.

@QasimRashid those newly elected do indeed need to lead with courage, and not relax into their comfortable positions from a view towards 'control' or 'power.' a view of restoring, and then progressing, towards a goal greater than those that came before, and certainly beyond a view of suppression of others.
I have followed your writing and know you have a vision beyond this, and hope that these rallying cries will evolve into a longer creative view, rather than one reactive and vengeful.
