@arstechnica The barista where I got my cuppa this morning was masked. She's done that before; she told me some smells aggravate her migraines. But I heard her tell another customer it's because of a recent death from measles (in a county far from us).

She's being extra careful. Unlike customers, she doesn't have a choice about whom she interacts with.
