Is Kings Seed is the best place for getting vege seeds in Aotearoa NZ?
Any tips / coupons / referral codes / suggestions?

Dear LazyWeb friends,
The package from Kings Seed has arrived and I have in my hot little hands the mangel wurzle seeds I was looking for.
Other sites were out of stock or only had more domesticated varieties of Beta vulgaris.
Just in time to plant a handful.

That is quite a list, thank you!
I'm specifically looking for Beta vulgaris / fodder beet which also goes by the hilarious name of "mangle-wurzle".
Considering driving out to a mate's farm and borrowing a tiny scoop of his seeds if it's too complex.

I think we're now within a year of when you last updated that post.
Looks like Southern Seed Exchange is ... idle?
Chris Millsambientspace@cloudisland.nzNov 3, 2026, 2:27 AM@futuresprog we order seeds from them and it seems to work pretty well for us. I've not seen any discounts from them though.
