@Unixbigot it was text mode but 2D, had a tiny programming language with turn, advance, look and fire type primitives as well as basic maths. Each command took one cycle, so the more complex your algorithm the slower you were. That's the extent of my memory of it now. Definitely not actual C or Pascal code though it may have been written in one of those.
