@meganL So far, wheelchair users seem pretty non-existent here, I have zero responses with tips so far. It is inaccessible, totally. But since that isn't going to change any time soon, I'd rather find a way around it that doesn't involve 'bring your own ramp' 😁

@pointysticksncoffee My impression is that there are probably a fair amount of ambulatory wheelchair users due to hEDS and other conditions, but it's true that the most easy-to-find disability subcultures here are blind folks and folks with ME.

I have no brilliant solutions for the original question, unfortunately. Every workaround that comes to mind involves putting something down (like an additional block or platform to raise the inner floor level) or relying on physical ability (like standing up and moving the chair, then sitting back down—I am non-ambulatory but have seen people stand up to nudge their scooters around tight turnarounds).
@Aubrie @meganL @pointysticksncoffee agreed. I would get the owner of the property to buy a shor folding metal ramp. The 3 foot ones are under $200. And then custom make a little wedge for the shorter bit from wood or even cut a rubber threshold thing to fit
@pointysticksncoffee @meganL I've got no good idea. I used a manual active user wheelchair for nearly 3 years. I tried something like that once and failed unhappily. (In my case afterwards the level was the same as before, but the in between thing was higher and not large enough to get up and then down in separate steps.)
