@dangillmor On the map-drawing part, here's one way I measured it. It counts every congressional map in use, not just this year's redraws. With the 2024 vote, in a year when the national vote is tied, Republicans start about twelve seats above half. About five of those show up on neutral computer-drawn maps too (that's geography); about seven are the lines. Both parties draw for advantage where they can.
