more context: we were re-wiring our house and our former electricians insisted all the wires I wanted weren't needed* and said "put the whole kitchen on one fuse - minus the stove, the stove has to have 3 fuses" for some reason.**

The joke is our stove is our least power-hungry device. Even our dishwasher draws more power.

*(I wanted one fuse per outlet and a separate circuit for dishwasher/fridge)
