Yes, I'm afraid so. Yet, most such stories I know are less suited for Halloween: My ideal narrator would tell something scary with a twinkle of humour. (Not that I guarantee to be that ideal narrator!) That is to say: All the supervisor stories I know aren't scary. They are just sad.
