Good morning everyone 🌞 The Calm before the Storm at the moment as Ziggy and I have a cosy wee cuddle ... well mostly. She just ran up my arm and across me to attack my right hand, then went back into my left and cuddled up again. No idea what my right hand did to offend her so badly. Parrots eh? 🤷🏻♀️
She's the one I'll be concerned about if we do lose power due to the storm though. Trying to keep a naked wee parrot with heart disease warm when there is no heating is a challenge to say the least. We can't use a calor gas heater or anything like that, because parrots. If it gets really cold I have a plan to transfer her to her travel cage, cover it up and put hand warmers under her paper at the bottom..I bought a box of 40 of them just in case 😊
It's BG3 day so hopefully we'll get some time to play. Grant's managed to get himself into a tizz over the coming storm - he's a terrible worrier and has been anxious all week - so he might not feel like playing, but we'll see. Maybe some time in Baldur's Gate will be just what he needs to take his mind off things.
