Had to go to into Leeds to go to the dentist so took the opportunity for a walk in our old woods/parks, which run alongside the Leeds-Liverpool canal.

I felt guilty that we were enjoying a perfect autumn day - sunshine sending beams of light through the golden trees - while the rest of you were being pummelled by the storm. Our time will come soon - Sunday will probably be the worst up here.

Also had a delicious lunch at Galleria, next to Project House. Amazing bread.

A vertical photo of a canal. Thin branches covered in green leaves frame the image in the immediate foreground, but the trees further back have gone yellow for autumn. There is a bridge over an entrance to a marina on the other side of the canal, and further down the canal itself, there is an arched bridge - with its reflection completing a circle. Speaking of circles, there are some concentric ones emerging from near the photographer caused by a (not visible) dog playing in the water.
