Are they making the argument of "She's damaged goods, therefore she's unfit for office."? I think they tried to do something similar with James Talerico - claiming without evidence that he stayed at a psych ward. It's the kind of thing where even if it's true, why does that make someone a bad leader? They're just looking for anything they can use to discredit someone at this point.
