    We were notified this week that our new Subaru Uncharted has been ordered and delivery should be mid to late January. So it's time to get serious about choosing a level 2 smart charger. I'm looking for #Canadian #Mastodon advice from those #EV owners who have installed a home charging unit. Based on your experience, what features or app functionality is really important?

    Hopefully my research and crowd sourced input will help me make an excellent choice.

    My requirements so far:
    - Hardwired 40 or 48 amp
    - NACS connector
    - 25 ft cable
    - Outside wall mount (we don't have a garage)
    -Wifi enabled with Smart app
    - Schedule charging during lowest electricity rate period
    - No need for vehicle sharing (1 car family)

    I tend to fall in love with cool app features and then never use them. So knowing what is critical versus nice-to-have is helpful.

    @PaulBusch I recently replaced my home EVSE with a Grizzl-E Ultimate 48. This is a Canadian brand made in Canada. Very happy with it. Congrats and good luck!

    @PaulBusch I have no input on your question but as a three time Subaru owner, I can’t wait to hear how you like the Uncharted when you get it. They are sweet looking.
