    An update on this bug.

After digging for far longer than I should have to, for free, I know exactly what lines in AOSP cause this, and have a possible patch in the work for BackTalk until someone decides to take this seriously.

As an additional bonus, I now also know how to create the stuck event diliberatly, which means i can reproduce the bug on demand.

@fireborn Fucking hell, they should just hire you. You're doing a lot for them...

@remixman I think so too. As it stands, I’ll be happy to see the back of this bug. I'm sending my patch set to the disability support rep I've already been communicating with, and hopefully they can send the patch onto someone who can apply it. That will fix the bug for everyone, not just BackTalk users. Until then, however, I need this fixed for our users, and need it fixed now.

@fireborn @pixelate Would you be open to sending me the patches as well? I'm making a Lineage fork for iPhones which ships with Backtalk and would love to put this in my build

@fireborn @pixelate Sure. It's a little thing I'm working on to be able to fully use LineageOS on A10 (for now just the small iPhone 7 / iPhone9,3), but I'm planning to extend that to my A9 phones once I'm successfull with this attempt.
For now I'm just trying to get all of the hardware to work, including GPU, haptics, audio which I've partly executed, etc, but my end goal is to get something that actually works as well as a run of the mill Android device does. The only unfortunate thing is that the 7 only has 2 GB of memory, but I don't plan to use gapps so it should be a bit better than it otherwise would be.

@fireborn fuck this y'all, I think it's time to make our own android roms. Like I know, it'll be hard, it takes time, and in the long term linux based stuff will be simpler to modify because that's a more minimal surface or whatever, but I think the situation is only gonna get worse, because nobody listens to us unless we do it. Anyways, how do you do this kind of debugging? how did you trace the code to that point?
