@Kareen_k I will do this, as well as a note that the next email I expect to recieve should be from someone investigating the issue.

JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 15, 2026, 12:37 PM@Kareen_k @fireborn I swair it is like they aren't even really looking at what he has provided. I mean they gave him instructions that they would give a normal everyday user. you would think that him showing all the stuff he has done, proof of it all, they would know he isn't just your normal everyday person, and has already checked those steps long before he did the testing he did, and such. why should he have to provide anymore before you send it to your "internal team"? again! he has already done lots of testing, and provided plenty of information showing the problem!

@JamminJerry @ernie @Kareen_k Hey jerry, unrelated to this thread, but if you update BackTalk, the bug when placing calls to Aira should be fixed

- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 15, 2026, 5:40 PM
@JamminJerry @ernie @Kareen_k Both.
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 15, 2026, 9:09 PM
@fireborn just tested the aira call with the regular backtalk version 336, as I grabbed that right before making the call, and nope. not fixed here, in fact in some respects worse. when it breaks, while you are on the call at least during this call, it didn't switch back to google tts until after the call.
- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 16, 2026, 5:22 AM
@JamminJerry Interesting. I'll keep looking at it then. Sorry about this.
- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 16, 2026, 6:19 AM
@JamminJerry Both issues should be fixed in my fork now, with prs open.
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 16, 2026, 6:24 AM
@fireborn for some strange reason, I still can't install your update to 693. I am on 674.
- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 16, 2026, 6:24 AM

@JamminJerry Good to know :)
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 16, 2026, 6:40 AM
@fireborn quick question? how do you bring up the backtalk menu on the watch? I was an idiot and thought it would be the same as it is on the phone the three finger single tap.
- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 16, 2026, 6:40 AM
@JamminJerry By default, swipe down and to the right.
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 16, 2026, 6:41 AM
@fireborn ah, ok. now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 16, 2026, 6:41 AM
@fireborn also not sure if you heard it, but I did post a small audio thing showing people how responsive backtalk is on my pixel watch 5.
- JamminJerryJamminJerry@mastodon.stickbear.meOct 15, 2026, 9:13 PM
@fireborn also, just to let you know, I can't update your aaron version again. it downloads it, but when it goes to actually install it, I get the same thing I was getting the one time you had to fix it, where is just says could not install.

@JamminJerry @mcourcel @fireborn See, the problem is that in a test, you eventually expect things to pass...

@JamminJerry @Kareen_k @fireborn oh, i know. I wasn't saying i agreed with it, Just allot of multimil companys like to do that, and now with AI, it knows to do that before forwarding anything, even if explaining.
- aaronfireborn@dragonscave.spaceOct 15, 2026, 5:48 PM
@ernie @JamminJerry @Kareen_k I understand that, but there is a difference betwen my app is broken please fix, and here is a detailed bug report and patches to fix the bug.
- JoshuaJ3317@allovertheplace.caOct 15, 2026, 8:08 PM
@JamminJerry @Kareen_k @fireborn yeah exactly, he has already done the things that most of us don't even know how to do lol and they still won't accept it.
