    Why, cont:
    - AoE/AoE2 - lots of LAN games in my final year of uni, then repeatedly come back to it every few years since so lots of layers of memories of playing it with different people. Uh-luh-looo.
    - The Sims - another final year of uni thing. Cost me my first 😂 Felt really innovative.
    - Tropico - such a fun spin on city building/management. Played the whole series, except the weird one, for 20 years. !viva el presidente!

    Why, cont again:

    - Psychonauts - always the game I think of when I think of creative game design. Hate the last level though.
    - WoW - it saved my precarious mental state in both 2006 and in 2012. Azeroth was great place to escape to when I needed it. My 2006 doctor played it too so I claim he prescribed it.
    - ONI - the 2020s obsession. A great blend of cute & nerdy (the former possibly the reason it's beaten Factorio onto the list). Long may the DLCs continue.
