If I were alone in a warehouse full of mannequins, i'd get creeped out, becuase part of my brain is alerting me to consciousness that isn't there.

And that's a bloody a mannequin. A plastic mold, that sort of looks like a human.

So it's obvious to me I actually can't make a rationale assessment of whether AI is conscious. Because my brain is constantly, desperately trying to convince me that everything is conscious.
