When Alice shakes the Red Queen, she turns into a kitten. I know it's fiction, but has anyone tried this on a real queen cause we could be missing out on an easy and cute way to abolish monarchy
@geekysteven What about the king?
@GromBeestje better give him a shake and find out
@GromBeestje @geekysteven He is asleep and dreaming all of this.
@geekysteven shaken Queen syndrome?
@geekysteven What do you mean, fiction?
Alice has to actually shake the queen into a kitten, I think that is obviously a specific kind of shake. Do we know the precise shake pattern needed?
@geekysteven
If you shake Donald Trump he turns back into a stoat
I object on the grounds that I like stoats, even if they are members of the weasel family.
How about if you shake the abhorrent one, he turns to dust and takes Steve Bannon down with him?
@geekysteven Certainly cheaper than waiting for the institution to implode under its own weight/ego (I'm currently reading Spare, can you tell?)
May 6, 2023, 9:23 PM@geekysteven All this time, the New Agers have been wasting time looking for lizard-people, but demanding to be fed, assuming that every flat surface belongs to them, and sending out explorers for more secure sources of herbs and yarn...?
Oct 25, 2026, 1:03 PM@geekysteven Justifiably, duopolies aren't faring any better.
@geekysteven JD Vance shook the pope
