The numbers are in and the impact of No Kings Day was bigger than we ever imagined! THANK YOU!

@weezmgk The flu shot never gives me any trouble, but this year's COVID shot knocked me off my feet for longer than usual (since the first year or so).

In the spirit of this comic, I armed myself with COVID and flu antibodies this week.

Finally! Steve can get back from the pub safely.

A miniature callistemon in the front gardens. This one has been there for about 5 years and never blossomed. Turns out they flower under stress- don't feed them, then they go POP #gardeningau ##bloomscrolling

My Illinois vote doesn’t matter much but someone needs to know.

Everyone has kind of laughed it off but there’s actually now an official investigation by multiple organizations into why my US election ballot hasn’t been released from US customs in a month without any explanation.

My wife (still not used to saying that!) has launched her art goods store, and I couldn't be more proud. ♡

All hand drawn and small-batch printed.

If you've ever wanted my blog mascot as a good quality vinyl sticker, now you can.

A hit, a very palpable hit! 😱

Tbf, it wasn't a big hit, & it was on my helmet, but the bugger kept chasing me! High side of Woodford station.

New wheel on, a whole week off the bike, distance required, Oaks it was. Pleasingly, my *avg* HR was 17bpm lower than last time. Dunno what was going on that day 🤷🏼

Less flowers today, but flannel flowers were out, & some pockets of boronias remain. Anyway, I felt good, got exercised, had fun.

It’s time for Defend Public Health’s Whopper of the Week!

This time the team covers RFK Jr.’s continued attempts to do absolutely anything to push the false narrative that vaccines cause harm.

Have been slowly working on this shirt from the same fabric as #TheBlueLinenSkirt - just plodding along with joining front and back pieces together. Waist length, Edwardian in style, will have black cuffs and collar. Two layer back and front yokes, for a bit of structure and anti cat claw properties. Used the same decorative topstitching as on skirt!
