Hey, does anyone here understand how mutual aid groups get funding? We're putting funds on commisary for people and helping with displaced families. We're hustling. But there's much more need than we can hustle.
“A developed country is not a place where the poor have cars. It’s where the rich use public transportation.”
It pisses me off so much when vote blue ppl stamp their foot about nonvoters.
Haha I guess they've never met anyone so fucked by the system that politicians don't bother to pretend they matter. How long would it take for vote blue types to give up on voting, * or at least develop some freaking understanding * of the situation if it was happening to them?
Newsflash, your issues aren't the only ones that matter, they're the ones political people in power use to make you hate us instead of the billionaires.
Building coalitions to wield power and make change for the people involves listening and uplifting each other's issues. This is notably different from screaming at people for not voting.
How are you not understanding that screaming at someone to vote is an authoritarian move?
For those who don’t know, Alan MacLeod is referring to a leaked 2025 research project by the U.S. firm Stagwell Global (commissioned by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs), who concluded that fear-of-radical-Islam frames outperformed other tested approaches for shifting Western opinion over Israel’s reputational damage amid the Gaza “war”.
Dear USian voting enthusiasts, voting is a solid plan. Is that like the whole plan, though? Even if it all goes very well, there will still be hourly human rights abuses happening all over the country. Many of us are in the middle of losing healthcare. The weather is generating a lot of instability, and unelected but entitled techbros are making it worse.
The prisons have been built for those of us who feel compelled to stand up against this, those who are already defending the rights that generations of people have fought tooth and nail to build and defend.
You're not just going to sit down and let all this shit keep hitting the fan, right?
You can find LBRR on Instagram, or dm me and I'll get you in touch.
Thank you, everyone. There are a lot of people here who care. We are hoping to reach the people who can help. 💜
When they say they've tried everything, they've tried everything. He doesn't have any documents either, and they've contacted politicians to help with that. They've exhausted local mosques. They've spoken with multiple social workers, trying to figure out how to help him navigate this.
He is a victim of USian endless wars.
Please help by sharing far and wide, with other social networks, with friends and family, with politicians and religious people, everywhere.
He is not the only victim of USian policy, the mutual aid tag has a lot of us who are struggling. Everyone deserves help. Helping each other is fighting fascism.
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of ppl.
Fuck a political analyst.
Do you need some shithead explaining what your neighbors think?
We all think there's some bullshit happening. We all know we need to make it right.
Political analysts are here to gaslight our community knowing.
Hey everyone, we need people in the streets right now. 🧊 is surging. People everywhere are gearing up for the elections and no matter the outcome, connecting with your local rapid response group will serve you well.
Grab their phone number and drive your neighborhood. You're looking for cars idling with sunshades up. If you see one, call and report it.
Join us in keeping each other safe. Everyone I know doing this work finally feels like we are taking action to build the future we want to live in.
A very autumnal looking Coire na Ba.
The second anniversary of this post is coming up, and surprise surprise these little "end of life" laptops are continuing to run well with #linux and do what we need them to, which includes spending less on tech so we can buy more actual books for the school library. #schooltech #endof10 #edtech #foss #reading #kidlit

This is a human rights worker who left Columbia after friends were killed. He is in detention in Louisiana and the USian government is trying to use our tax dollars to send him back to Columbia.
He needs a lawyer yesterday. Please help. Please boost, and if you can contribute please do. Please tell your friends and family. We need him out, and helping us.
This is part of our community, please boost and share with your networks 💜
Hi everyone, reaching out to ask for support in our final step to getting Tio H back on his feet.
Tio H was taken from his car, which he lived in, by ICE and upon his release from Adelanto we learned his car and all of his belongings had been stolen.
In the 3 weeks we have known him, we gave been able to collaborate with the non profit to keep him in temporary housing (hotels), secure him a donated car, and found him a new permanent place to live.
We raised funds for and paid for his deposit and now we just need $600 to pay his first months rent.
Tio H is so grateful for all our support and super ready to get his life back on track and become independent once again.
Please share this fundraiser with your networks!

It seems crazy that I'm asking this, but is it possible to look up street addresses instead of coordinates when using organic maps?
I see it gives a block or so... but I've had it take me to the wrong block, several blocks away, and if a person is hoping for punctuality, that can be a problem.
Idk.
Maybe there's some really easy fix and I'm just not seeing it?
Just got an email from gavin, asking me to give Jon Ossoff money.
I can't imagine why a guy who is trying to act like he has a moral platform would be working with a slimeball like gavin.
