*screaming into the void* If there's a piece of text or important information that appears on a page while filling out a form, ETC, that message must be announced by screen readers. If I have to explore the entire webpage to find the alert text message at the bottom, it may as well not exist for 99% of screen reader users. And no, "Password invalid requirement undefined" doesn't count. For the love of all that is sacred, please check your JavaScript... then test, test, and test again with any screen readers/assistive tech you have access to. If the UK rejoins the EU and we can't decide to get rid of summer time, I'd like to at least fantasise about France changing to our proper timezone (same as Dublin and London). The double summer time we just suffered through for most of October is just incredibly unpleasant.
