#SanFrancisco income inequality is hurting children.

an observation:

I don't see many Black women openly celebrating the midterm results--more like cautious optimism. But if anyone's earned a gloat it should be us.

Meanwhile many members of the groups with...let's just say less stellar collective voting records seem about two hops from a hootenanny.

So happy you're happy....maybe funnel some of that energy into confronting your fascist family members this holiday season. And if you hold office, stop pretending centrism is the answer.

Powerful video from Abdul El-Sayed, Democratic senate candidate from Michigan:

"We're being told that if we sacrifice the rights of some people, then the rest of us get to keep our rights.

We all know that's some BS."

I'll put a link to the source and the full transcript in replies to this post.

Perhaps — and hear me out here — if you can afford to lose $474 million while trying to buy the midterm elections, you can afford to pay your fair share in taxes.

Specifically… what are you going to do to repair and restore the 1 million+ Black women (myself included) who have lost their careers due to intentional DEI rollbacks.
What is your plan to reunify the thousands of families torn apart and displaced by ICE?
What about the supposed $2 trillion dollars of US treasury money this Nazi kakistocracy has stolen?
Can we get back to forgiving all student loan debt now?
What about the damage done to the sciences? The CDC?

How do you repair immediately?

If y'all didn't like me pointing out that in Florida, *more* white women than white men voted for Trump's candidate...

Then y'all really aren't going to like me pointing out that in Texas, *more* white women than white men voted for Trump's boy Paxton over Talarico.

No other group does that.🤷🏿‍♂️

For every 100 white votes that Paxton got,
~49 came from white men
~51 came from white women

But the dudes that hop online to talk disrespectfully about Black women in Harris County, and to curse out Jasmine Crockett, have no swear words about that.

So disappointed in Wiener. Supported him for years (mostly on housing grounds) but had to switch in the primaries this year. sigh.
