I also struggle with the fact that this is SO MUCH money. This is my deductible and out of pocket for the year, plus a cushion because my insurance does not pay for things like commode liners, chucks, extra on the water bill for all the laundry, etc.

Went to the doctor with my girlfriend. The doctor told us every gp has one or more patients with unbearable chronic pain that they do not know how to treat. I knew this, of course, but to hear the doctor say it, and agree when I said the pain is silently accepted by medical science, was a positive. Those doctors are all frustrated and on our side. Let's hope they can affect some change.

Wheelchair users, how does one get over an obstacle like this: a pretty high treshold or curb where the ground level drops after the treshold (usually with a doorway to pass through as a bonus)? I find it tricky, if not impossible to wheelie over, and going backwards is downright terrifying/asking for a crushed skull. Nicely Halloween appropriate, but I get enough stares as it is.
Any tips or tricks other than praying or having someone there to help? 1/2

What's your favorite low-effort god

I slept for 2 hours. It helped. May do some more sleeping.

I would like to just fall asleep and not have to do anything ever again. Is that being suicidal? I have no intention of harming myself. I just wish I didn't have to anymore. Have to what? Have to anything. Dragging the motivation out of my toenails is such a chore. And it never ends.

Yes I am having trouble getting myself to my appointment. I don't think it will be easier for the next one. Or the next, or the next. Ok I'm staying home for now. Get some rest, do some self-care. Maybe then the next one will be manageable.
