I've been using an electric blanket the past few days. The first time I tried it, I got too hot and woke up, but since then, I've liked it. It's really comfy and seems to be giving me cool dreams. I had a dream about Nandi... 🐄
People really exaggerate the extent to which mecha pilots are “forced” to pilot. People always say the genre is about adults forcing children to fight but it’s more common for the kids to steal the mechs and pilot them against the adults’ wishes.
I think some people have mistaken those “get in the robot, Shinji” memes for the entire genre.
I'm watching I Want To Love You Til Your Dying Day again. Mimi's naivety and violence reminds me of Suletta but Sheena is much kinder to blood-soaked Mimi than Miorine was to post-splat Suletta...

I went to the thrift store and they had a DVD called “Harry Potter: Innocent Entertainment or Darkness Disguised?” with storm clouds and “Not Approved by J.K. Rowling” written on the bottom.
Maybe we should have listened…

Suggestions for a digital camera for photography I could carry around everywhere that lasts a long time under $200?
Some of my ancestors have pages on genealogy websites. It seems some distant cousins of mine set it up. Cool except most of the information is clearly wrong and none has a source. One of my ancestors is listed as her son's mother and wife simultaneously... ugh. A man fought in a war that ended before he was born. Another died once in the United States and then in Australia a hundred years later.
So I haven't learned much about my long dead relatives but I have learned I have some cousins who are really dumb.
Today's Food for Thought:
Can anything be more ridiculous than that a man should have the right to kill me because he lives on the other side of the sea, and because his ruler has a quarrel with mine, though I have none with him?

Any new Slice-Of-Life or Romance stories you would recommend? After finishing Smoking Behind the Supermarket I kinda fell down a YouTube spiral, and haven’t been watching a lot of anime.
All recommendations are appreciated need me some feel goods 👀
