How do you get your people who aren't terminally online off Facebook? https://jacobhaddon.com/2026/10/03/facing-america-online/

They grow up so fast

Gremlin 1 slept through class for the first time 🥰

Today is 10 years since the day I signed my first management contract, starting the business that has been my life ever since then. It has not always been easy, but it has been rewarding

This is the future of LLMs. Not giant data centers and AGI

Not me moving a dead rat off private property so the city will pick it up and dispose of it

Lovely day to hang out on a roof, though I could use a chair and maybe a cocktail

Yes I'm sure the password expiration notice from noreply_SehEHW7l0e542qmkWoxs52nHokyuGpISdI0oE00e7J4gpnhu6Y@outofireland.ca is totally legitimate

He just sent me the invoice. That's a relief

Mildly concerned I haven't heard from a GC this week. I owe him money so surprising not to hear anything. He's a US citizen but born in Nicaragua - I know ICE doesn't make much distinction

We're going to visit Gremlin 1 next week at college, I can't wait

Like bro come on

And my MAGA cousin doesn't count. He wanted to know if our Colonial New England ancestors had any Civil War generals for the traitorous loser side.

I wish someone else in my family was into genealogy. It's not so much fun alone

Prior owners of my house made some very bad choices that we are slowly undoing

Got the crummy old carpet removed from the stairs. They need sanding and re-staining but this is a huge improvement

And don't you need like 50 pages of disclosures for any kind of credit card offer in the US? There's no way this is legal

Also wtf? Money that pays you back? Who thought up THAT line?

Yeah that's gonna be a no from me, dawg
