I just got an alert on my phone that time has moved backwards. I thought all those doomster preppers were crazy. What does this mean for us? Will this happen again? Has the timestream been contaminated? Nothing feels real anymore.
I am heartbroken to see we have lost #PatrickStewart. As a young adult, TNG got me through deep depression and gave me a father figure based on hope, kindness, diplomacy and scientific curiosity. He has changed my life for the better and I am a better person today because of him. He helped me, and many others, find their inner truth.
The first duty of every Starfleet officer is to the truth. Whether it's scientific truth, or historical truth, or personal truth. It is the guiding principle upon which Starfleet is based.
You will be profoundly missed Sir Patrick Stewart. Rest in peace.

I demand the media stop making hackers look like badasses in black hoodies and more like real hackers. Massive bags under their eyes, a sticker that says "I am probably ADHD or autistic or both", caffeinated beverages and substances scattered throughout the room with a look that forever says "I love this crap but this reality is going to be the death of me"'

I just finished "The Jungle Grows Back" and will read one of the better realist rebuttals "The Great Tragedy of Great Power Politics" but I'm taking a break to read "Paris 1919" by Margaret McMillan and guess what Star Trek DS9 fans... I found someone named Curzon who was also a diplomat! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Curzon,_1st_Marquess_Curzon_of_Kedleston
I'm not pro-harassing people to do alt-text. I get it. Life is draining and effort is at a premium. Sometimes you just wanna make a shitpost.
That being said, I thoroughly enjoy alt-text. Sometimes I just want to know what is going on a photo and I can see just fine. It also makes me 100x more likely that I will boost a photo/video.
It can be hard enough to tell what is going on in a photo when you can see it, let alone our fedifrens who can't.
Don't be intimidated what I will call "altmaxxers" who somehow can write, like, a whole freaking beautifully written essay for a photo of a banana. Thats really cool but I cant consistently do that. A sentence or a few words is still better than nothing.
Tbh mentour pilot, blancolirio and vasaviation are the only ones I trust of all the aviation youtubers. And VASaviation really only does replays not analysis.
Navi is a particularly remarkable women. She started out her career in her home of South Africa, fighting against apartheid. Then graduated Harvard with a Doctorate in Jurisprudence.
She was nominated by Nelson Mandela for a judgeship in the International UN tribunal investigating the Rwandan genocide where she was further elevated to President Judge of the tribunal.
She then was the UN chair of the COI OPTEJI and now is currently investigating the Rohingya Genocide in Myanmar.
